Fresh off my tour with the incomparable Kristeen Young, im staying out West and keeping my fingers warmed up and limber by doing a lil residency with my friends at Little Joy in Echo Park, EVERY TUESDay this FEBRUARY. We’ll be joined by Tilli, True Ghouls and more!
Couple nights ago the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer played 3…YES 3 of Sylvia Black’s songs on his Rodney On The ROQ show. He also played a new song from Kristeen Young as well as brand spanking 2 day old song from Daphne Guinness on which KY and Sylvia sang background vocals for…produced by the legendary Tony Visconti ! It was a huge group love group hug.

It was an incredible Bastille Day in Nimes France singing with Telepopmusik at the Arena De Nimes. Sadly, we were unaware of the terror just a 2 hour drive due East of us in Nice. What nightmare. Our hearts and thoughts with the victims and their family and friends.

Thank you to The Roxy Hotel NYC for giving me a musical home. This is from a brand new set from my last night at Roxy until Fall, where I’m happy to have been given a steady, long-term, Saturday Night, Fall residency. Very cool hotel with lots of extras for guests, including a cinema space, Djangos subterranean joint, the biggest Sunday Brunch Iv ever seen, and of course live music! See you in the Fall!
Acting and theater was actually my passion since I was 5. From that point thru high school my life was centered around drama classes, theater productions, a couple of agents…but rarely an audition for tv nd film to go on. My type was not wanted. Times have changed and I might throw my hat back in the ring. Anyhow, Here’s my baby step back in… A sci-fi short shot in the EV starring my friend Neon Music.
